I decided it was time to get serious with my crochet hooks and ditch the cheapies and invest (and thats what it is with current exchange rates) in these lovely japanese hamanaka crochet hooks....i got mine here but you can find them on etsy and ebay too...they are just gorgeous to hold and crochet with and so practical with a hook at each end! they just need a more glamorous home when I get back to sewing
also how cute is this, retro daddy was bringing keira in from the car when 2 little girls came up selling their craft to the neighbours....$2 for a bracelet that fits keira's wrist perfectly....love it! now keira wants to make bracelets in our craft activities this week....
and this is what someone wanting my attention looks like..poor little finn...he has to compete with 2 girls (with big voices) for my attention

I don't crochet but I can appreciate that feeling of joy when using good tools.
Tha envelope turned up this week and was a fabulous surprise b/c I had forgotten it was comming. Hurrah!
Oh poor Finn, at least he will grow up a sensitive little boy who knows how girls think though. Those crochet hooks look nice and sound wonderful to use.
I've been wondering about good crochet hooks. I don't crochet very often but last time I did I was annoyed with the hook. Might have to invest myself!
Poor Finn. My husband knows what it's like to be surrounded by women. Lucky we have Rooster the dog to balance the male side of the family. (Lovely to meet your little ones and catch up with you last Friday......)
Nice crochet hooks. MIL used to crochet a lot so must ask if she will pass me hers ;p
Cute pic of Finn.
Those are nice hooks. I love mine.
Poor Finn!
