here she is with her little friends Henry and Freya doing some nursery rhymes....
and today while the babies napped I tried my hand at ripples.....I'm going to do a manageable playmat which means the hexagons will continue to hibernate a little longer.
I searched my ever expanding home library for crochet books to help me and found the best instructions were in a small book called Beginners Guide to Crochet ' Ripples for Baby' by Leisure Arts. I got my copy on the Ravelry Australian Knitters destash page for about $3. If you think ripples might be your thing check out this blog...

There are quite a few Ripple patterns on Ravelry. that Vintage Crochet book is really nice. A friend recently got it and I was able to look through it.
