who was next to the very lovely audrey & maude.....the incubator section really was just lovely and there were plenty of bloggers to say hi to!
there was a craft secret section....here is mine, no surprises there.....
here is my haul....ella & kate hairclips and craftapalooza pin cushion from tutti fruiti, panels from lisa at the red thread, felt from winterwood, fabrics from amitie (gosh she's a nice lady that jennie, I always make time for her stall at the shows) and a new find lush yarns....this is me being restrained or so I tell myself every craft show!
oh my why did tillie have to go into total meltdown as I arrived at the lush yarn stall! I cuddled her in the sling but she was over it so I quickly picked this silk/wool/bamboo yarn for a little cardigan for her! These ladies are from sydney and I plan to visit their online store very soon as their colours and yarns are just perfect!!!
All in all a good day but next year I'll go chikd free and do some of the craft bars and labs!
So nice to see you today! There was lots of beautiful stuff, wasn't there - I had lots of fun pottering around in my lunch break.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a good day. I can't wait for tomorrow, sorry I missed you though
ReplyDeleteOh I wished I lived in Sydney to go to the wonderful show. Poor baby having a meltdown, must have been so overwhelming seeing all that beautiful craft everywhere, lol! It looks like you bought some beautiful things too. Must go and check out that online yarn shop now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing me another place to spend my crafty money :) Unfortunately DH knows how much I spend and I do have a budget.

Looks like a great show and love what you bought!!
ReplyDeleteI am going on Saturday - can't wait!
Great finds, Corrie! I'm planning to go on Sat, and will definitely check out Lush Yarns and the incubator section!
ReplyDeleteOh Corrie enjoy your lush yarn, I used my first skein last week and it was so divine! I love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat nice things. Everyone is so talented and creative. It looks like it was so much fun to be there. I like the little note that says, "Don't set a budget, and don't tell your husband how much you spend." That's cute.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time! Belinda stall looks great!
ReplyDeleteGreat handcraft work. I like to decorate my home from this.

your craft tip was very similar to mine - I said "if you husband asks how much you spent today - LIE!"
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great day :)
Fantastic to see you and your sweet and very gorgeous babies! So glad you enjoyed the show - we get such a buzz out of doing it and being part of such a wonderful crafting community.
