not pink
now pink is one of my favourite colours (and its no secret!!!) but one mummy asked me to make up a dress in navy blue.....I had nothing in my store or stash and couldn't find anything online.....but sometimes Spotlight surprises you and I found this beauty in the quilting section...wow, a very soft 100% cotton perfect for a little girls dress.

ReplyDeleteVery nice once again! I've had a request for purple and khaki of all colours. Then I remembered Ellie has a hand-me-down khaki top which looks nice with crisp white pants or a skirt. Off to the brand new Bendigo Spotlight tomorrow for a look.

ReplyDeleteWow that is quite a find at Spotlight, a nice pattern in blues!! Love the red trim, stunning. Red is always a winner. Just went to Spotlight myself, all the way interstate to Queanbeyan, brrrr, so wet & cold in Canberra today. Bought the usual array of press studs, zips & some more fabric paint. Exciting stuff. My girls had a ball with the Halloween gear & then the usual chant of "i need to wee" killed the shopping trip. Was fine, i had everything on my list, plus 2 witches hats & a battleaxe. Doesn't that sound like the shopping list of a patchworker?? Love Posie
