I love this fabric but it sold it out within a few days at spotlight, but thankfully their 'shop at home' came to my rescue and found me 4m at Lidcombe store which is a long way from home...

and it matched keira's new little hair tie perfectly...it's the Clover large flower yo-yo (I hope to stock some in my store soon as spotlight has been sold out for ages) and if you use a really light fabric it puffs up gorgeously!
I hope to make more for my market stall...in 2 weeks! And don't forget to enter my giveaway which closes tonight! New giveaway starting tomorrow too.....so much fabric, so much to share!
Very cute dress! xox
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute dress (and child of course)! I love that fabric. I scored a remnant of it at the new Toowoomba Spotlight on Friday.
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous dress !
ReplyDeleteShe looks lovely:) Great outfit for the church.
ReplyDeleteI agree, light colours look great in yo-yos.
Wow, I've never seen that fabric but it makes a very sweet dress! Lucky you to snap up all those metres
ReplyDeleteCorrie, that dress is gorgeous, ive not seen that colour material in Spotlight only the blue red version its lovely. What pattern did you use can I ask ?
ReplyDeleteCute dress. When my eldest granddaugher stayed [years ago] for an extended holiday, I made her a new dress to wear [each night]. You do these things when they are little and they don't take too much time. Enjoy doing it Corrie.
ReplyDeleteRainbow smiles.. Gloria
You're a clever mummy!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty little dress.

Gorgeous dress! I haven't spotted that fabric at Spotlight... and I see Maria snatched up the last bit at the new Toowoomba store - lucky you Maria! I'm loving the new Spotlight in Twba!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress! Fabulous fabric.
ReplyDeleteLove the dress - I managed to nab a bit of that fabric at my local Spotlight before the bolt did the usual disappearing trick! (Love the yo-yo hair clip. I am now doing them in front of the TV just like you said.....!)

ReplyDeleteI love love love the dress and the fabric, it's super gorgeous! Very clever...
ReplyDeleteThe fabric is gorgeous Corrie and it suits Keira so well too. She must have so many little dresses and they will be perfect for summer. At least when she outgrows them Tillie will be able to wear them.
ReplyDeleteThat is lovely fabric. Is that the cotton voile? They (Spotlight) have a new range in of cotton voiles or something as they have some really great patterns. I have picked up a few different ones (even some for me!) Happy dress making!
ReplyDeleteso cute! She looks adorable in her new dress :)

ReplyDeleteEeeek! That new dress is SO cute! Keira looks like a little angel!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Corrie, I've just recently discovered your blog and absolutely love it - so much so that I've gone back to the beginning and read your journey over the last few years. Feel like I've known you for years lol. I too am an ex sort of Canberraite, having grown up in Queanbeyan and gone to school in Canberra. I love all your little dresses and creativity. What pattern do you use? I've never attempted to make a dress (failed dismally in fashion classes at school) but having read your blog I'd dearly love to make one for my little grandaughter Grace who is 16 months old. Having not had my own children, I'd love to get cracking with some creative flair for her wardrobe! Thank you for sharing some of you with some of us. I wish you all the very best with your shop, your market stall and Xmas.
ReplyDeleteShauna :)
