anyway a new year means new year resolutions! always the same for me every year...in fact for as long as I can remember! I gained a few too many kilos the last week or so and top of the list is to lose a bit of weight and tone up, eat healthier, spend less (well I'll try), get out more (it's so much easier to stay home rather than venture out with my lovely three), finish more projects than I start (again, I'll try), use up more of my stash, keep my craft room tidy...ok now I'm just being silly but you get the picture!!!!!!!!!!!!

2010 is set to be an exciting year for retro mummy and it all starts once my new fabrics start arriving in february, the cutest I've ever seen....so happy new year and tell me your resolutions!!!!!!!!!!!
i reckon that sounds like a pretty special party! And an exclusive invite list too by the sounds of it. She looks adorable.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year Corrie!
Happy New Year to you and your cuties! It's been a lovely read whenever I drop by.
ReplyDeleteHow cute is Keira, putting on her festive gear and throwing her own little party? What a little character she is! I must admit, one of the pleasures of this year has been discovering your blog, it's lovely, funny, and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI have a whole list of resolutions brewing, I just need to sit down and type them all out (hopefully sometime today), but among them will definitely be sewing more and better projects.
Happy New Year to you!
Happy new year Corrie,
ReplyDeleteI can identify with wanting to get out more! (and losing weight, and spending less, and being more organised....)
Happy New Year! I'm glad to find your blog - it's really lovely, your knitting and quilting look gorgeous, and your children are adorable! Good luck with all your resolutions...
ReplyDeleteKeirs is a cutie that's for sure!! Your resolutions are the same as mine, loving food and fabric can be hazardous to your health!!
ReplyDeleteOh Dear, I must organise the sewing room. It is unworkable at the moment.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! She is as adorable as always!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Corrie! How wonderful that Miss Keira wanted to party too, I guess that is the privilege of being the eldest! No new year resolutions for me although the weight loss and the less spending sounds wonderful, at least making none doesnt mean I break them. I hope you achieve all yours and I cant wait to see the new fabrics too.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteRock on Keira!!
Typical mummy type resolutions like me, go for it. I'm steadily humming through day one completing my resolutions of healthy, diet, exercise, gardening & making my own food from scratch - ravioli & home grown herb salad with a traditional Italian tomato sauce (ok tinned tomatoes as our tomatoes are ripe yet). Easy to maintain as my children keep records & notice if we haven't done exercise, they drag me out. Love Posie
Happy New Year Corrie - we took the train into the city and saw the early 'family fireworks' it was fun and enjoyed by all.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! As someone who did climb out their window I would say current indications are promising for her - great glasses and well thought out make up!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and the lovely family
Sounds like a fun night at your house, what a way to go into the New Year. I have a short list of resolutions and on the top would have to be spending more quality time with my little family just hanging out sometimes life gets busy and it's so important to just be together. I have others to but this is my most important.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful New Year Corrie thanks for always having wonderful things to read on your blog.:)
As the mother of three girls I often wonder which one is going to really try it on - maybe they all will. Lucky they are cute now!!
ReplyDeleteI think on the top of my resolution list would have to be post again!! Getting fit and more organised are in there too! Happy New Year Corrie to you and your lovely family! xxx
