We love yum cha! No waiting for your meal to arrive, noisy enough to take the kids, chop sticks to play with, good food and you can be in and out in no time........................it was elodie's first time and she totally loved it.

and thankfully our day had improved from the morning when this photo was taken on our way out to church.............
I'm a little sad my birthday weekend is over because it's been such a good one!

I love gelato!!! Remember some good times with my Dad as we both loved it and had it many times on a trip to Sydney when I was about 13 years old

Oh goodness, dim sim! When my husband and I were in a hostel in China, we ate those for breakfast FRESH every morning. Its a breakfast food there! no cereal or toast for them, just delicious "steamed buns!" Takes me back!

Sooo jealous, we also love Yum Cha, but here in Switzerland our nearest resturant is 1hr15mins drive away. No trolleys, frozen reheated dumplings, but at least there is a resturant. Yum Cha is so great with little ones, you order small portions as you go (so there is no wastage) and the kids can see what they are getting and pick themselves plus it is all so quick, and delicious. So frustrating to order a meal or 3 at a cafe and have them not eaten!
