what about elodie?

Ok so some of my readers have been asking for photos of Elodie! I know what you're thinking - she was the baby of this blog and she's been replaced by a newer model. But trust me she is always my baby girl and gets plenty of love and attention here....

elodie loves sushi

Her favourite word is OK and she loves to walk around yelling out OK to everyone! I'm going to have to tape it because she says it up to 50 times!!!!! And she's walking everywhere - no bottom shuffling! I thought I'd never see it happen but she is off. I remember one of my readers suggesting little boots for her and they did the trick holding her wobbly little ankles straight. There is no stopping her.

she walks everywhere!

But life has been a little harder for Elodie with a new brother taking away some of mummy's attention but she's become more independent and plays more with the twins and keira. And she loves to sit next to me and hold my hand while I feed little Emerson......it's very cute. And as for any jealousy - absolutely not! She loves him just a little too much - like try to climb into his basinette much or rock his bouncer really really hard and put her head right next to his and yell out awwwwwww....

cousins

and here she is with tillie and her big cousin Bea! So although I was worried about how she'd go with a little baby in the house she has really surprised me and is doing well. Phew! It sure beats keira who ignored the twins for a couple of weeks when they were born......

  1. Isn't it amazing once our 'babies' start walking? Elodie looks so much taller since her last photo.

  2. Thanks Corrie Elodie is such a sweetheart and I am sure she will love having a baby brother - much more independent while still wanting to be close to you. I can imagine her walking everywhere now.
Keira is the big girl, the twinnies have each other and Emerson is the baby so she will need to find her place: as you say she is the baby girl of the family.

  7. Oh hello Bea!!
My guys were never jealous either, i think it's a tiny bit easier when you have really easy babies, who feed & sleep & just go with the flow & noise of a large family. Bless her little heart, Elodie is growing up & getting so fair too, she looks more like Keira every day, love Posie

  9. Elodie looks so adorable with her hair in a ponytail and sounds like a very caring big sister to Emerson.
Their names go so well together.

  12. What a little sweetie Elodie is! She is lucky to have bigger brothers and sisters to play with. How lovely that she holds your hand while you feed.
