Unfortunately I sold and gaveaway my entire stash AND lost a vital piece of my snap press in one of our moves last year!! So a quick trip to spotlight yesterday for elastic and velcro was required before I could whip these up but its all coming back to me now!!!!
Here is one happy miss tillie trying out her first nappy made by mummy!!!! With 2 babies to cloth nappy we'll be transitioning otherwise I'd be working through the night all week just to get a stash started!
and uh oh...a new shop is opening on my side of town selling nappy making supplies!
Good for you! Cloth nappies are fun and all..but they are more work. Good to balance it out.
ReplyDeleteYay for cloth - Glad that you found your way back and it is an easier age as you dont go through so many in a day:) Have fun making them - will you be able to get a replacement bit for the snappy press?
ReplyDeleteWell done on attempting to take up cloth with two littlies.
ReplyDeleteGood on you! I loved my Eenies, they were so daggy compared to the ones now! Wish I had a baby in nappies, actually, they would be so funky!

ReplyDeleteDo you make these yourself did you say???? I'm in awe!!!
ReplyDeleteShe looks very happy in her comfy new nappy! I've always just used square white terry towelling nappies, a snappi and a pilcher so this will seem like a silly question but is there a liner in that fleece cover or is an all-in-one?
ReplyDeleteGo you! I did terry flat squares (old school) with my daughter and we loved it. I made great PUL covers for them and they worked a treat. Love the fluffiness of your new ones. :)
ReplyDeleteHow happy does she look with that nappy???
ReplyDeleteDefinitely TCTPI.
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute. Good on you for going back to cloth. We did cloth with the twins, good thing you are starting at the end of winter - easier to get them dry.
ReplyDeleteCorrie those nappies are so cute. Cloth nappies are so nice and guilt free when it comes to using them. So much more comfy I'm sure for the little one.:)
ReplyDeleteThose are absolutely adorable! You're not kidding, they really are too pretty to use. But I'm sure they'll be much appreciated by the wee ones, they look so soft and comfy.
ReplyDeleteHow happy does Miss Tillie look in her new nappies. They are soooo cute too, and I am sure you could make lots in all different sizes too as they grow. They never stay small for long do they.
ReplyDeleteGood on you! I am using cloth on my twins. The washing machine gets a workout but it's rewarding.
ReplyDeleteThe fabrics you've got are gorgeous.
Good luck!
I don't know how you do it all. A shop, cooking, baking, clean and happy children and now cloth nappies! (maybe even home schooling) Please tell me your house is a complete and utter mess or that you are behind on the ironing. I have twins and a 4 yr old and I don't do half of what you do.
