and another quilt top

I quickly turned a Botany charm pack into a quick quilt top on friday night...this is not my usual colour palette as you can see but I really like it! Just like Hunky Dory this range isn't due out till March either and they have been hot little sellers so I might sell more charm square packs next year! I was hoping to quilt this today at our sunday craft day but it's going to be a scorcher here at 41 degrees

and to tell you the truth I have so much to take to the hall that adding my machine and paraphanalia just wasn't going to happen! So I've packed yo-yo makers, scraps and some cotton knitting and we just might need an ice-cream run after lunch with all this heat!

  1. The colours are beautiful, you're doing well with all these quilts!
We've had the hot weather here in Melbourne too, but now we're getting a drenching, it rained ALL NIGHT! (and is still going)

  2. Nice work Corrie, but i'm terribly distracted adn giggling about the Most Embarrassing Moments. I did the groceries (imagine, all that bending & reaching) with both BOTH boobs unhooked & on the loose after breastfeeding twins. Clearly i felt free & easy, what was worse, i was shopping solo so i didn't have said twins with me to explain giant unhatched boobs!!
I told this story to a friend who annoucned that her child once pulled down her top while sitting facing her in a trolley as he wanted a breast feed NOW!! It was the 70s & she was in a terry towelling ensemble only held up with elastic across the top of her boobs. This wasn't discrete, it was at the long queues at the cash register & she took what felt like ages to put her boobs back in as he wouldn't let go of the top of her dress which was now around her waist & she wasn't wearing a bra!!
Oh, love it all!! Have fun in that gorgeous pool, we baked at Handmade Market on Friday & Saturday here in Canberra, i would have easily died of heat stroke if not for a handy husband & an esky of ice!! Love Posie
