when the hairdresser comes to you

I found myself in a bit of a pickle (don't you love that saying) this week when I realised that I had my hair appointment all muddled up and it wouldn't be before my head shots were being taken on Tuesday. Help! I needed to find a hairdresser who could turn my hair from 10 week regrowth to something fabulous. And I'm very picky about who does my hair so I was a little reluctant to try someone new.

Foils at home!!!! I'm having my hair done at home!

But I remembered the lovely Leanne I had met at mumpreneurs recently. She's a lovely northern beaches lady who owned a toni & guy salon up here but sold up to get more of her life back. So I got in touch with her and she came over this morning. Having your hair done at home is great - the kids are running around everywhere, I could be near my little guy emerson and retro daddy was on hand too. And you end up with gorgeous hair from the comfort of home. Oh and she brings everything - the chair, the sink, the products.

Ta da! New hair thanks to @carnabyhair and I didn't have to leave home! Perfect!
 
I still haven't worked out how to drop 7 kilos before my headshots are taken but at least my hair is sorted. Leanne gets the tick of approval from me!

    Looks fabulous! Ummm you've just had a baby. Let's be realistic and reasonable shall we? Once Emerson starts crawling you'll be running off those kilos in no time. My bro is one so we get haircuts at mum house when he goes there. But I haven't done my roots in a while...

    I love hairdresser hair! I think home services are under-rated. They are a great service for busy mums :-)

    Don't you just love a fresh colour through your hair!! Makes you feel like a million bucks and somehow hotter than Elle Macpherson :)

    You look great Corrie and don't worry about the 7kgs. They will come off... Perhpas not all before this Tuesday but eventually :)

    Wow, loving the new hair-do! :) You look stunning, so try not to stress too much about those 7kg. They'll come off, and in the mean time you're looking beautiful.
    My mother-in-law is a recently retired hairdresser so she does all of our hair at her place :) it's great. Hubby and my eldest just had theirs done last night :) Have fun with the photo shoot!

    I used to own/run my own Mobile Hairdressing business before I got married! I couldn't do it now.. I just don't love it enough because I love crafting way too much. I was always super busy cause people loved the convenience of it all as you did!
