With 5 babies under my belt, I feel pretty confident telling you what you need and don't need when you have a baby. There are so many 'nice to have' things now in the baby shops and you can spend an absolute fortune on what you think are the essentials. But one of the best things that has happened since I had my first baby Keira is that there are lots more baby carriers on the market. And I can't live without a few to make life easier.
I discovered the hug-a-bub when I had Elodie - I needed a sling that was great for a newborn, that would fit me comfortably (I'm only 5ft and found some slings were swimming on me) and that wasn't bulky so that I could get on with my day to day jobs at home. I did all my research (oh did I do my research) and the hug-a-bub was the solution. I bought one, watched the dvd how to put it on and was hoooked. Here I am in November 2010 with Elodie.
The hug-a-bub is soft and stretchy and you wrap it around yourself and tie it. So whether you're smaller or larger than average you won't have any problems wearing it. There are even larger sizes (which I didn't know) if you or your partner are extra 'huggable'. A newborn sits snuggly on your chest with their little head tucked under one of the wide straps. This makes it nice and comfy and safe. I've always been a bit wary of wearing a sling across me and not seeing baby's face. It's also really comfy to wear and I've never had a sore back or shoulders carrying a baby around on me.
As soon as my babies have got into the hug-a-bub they're asleep. And I get my hands free and can get stuck into making lunch, putting a load of washing on or out, vacuuming or just doing my jobs. It's also been great for school pick ups and outings......here was Emerson's first lunch at sushi train. He slept right through it and I got to eat my lunch.
Sadly I lent out my hug-a-bub after Elodie and didn't get it back so the lovely people at Hug a Bub sent me a new one and a lovely reader, Rosita, also sent me hers so I'm lucky enough to have one for the home and one in the car! Competition now closed! Thank you everyone for entering
Thank you to the lovely people at hug-a-bub!
Thank you to the lovely people at hug-a-bub!
I had a similar sling for my two boys. I found with having a baby and toddler it was such an essential item. I used it pretty much all day when George was newborn, in order to get things done around the house and have hands free for my toddler.
ReplyDeleteWe are having our first baby in March and we're looking for the perfect sling. This one looks so snuggly! Melanie
ReplyDeleteI would love to win one for a great friend who is due with her second baby any minute - I think they are a great idea
ReplyDeleteOh, this is the perfect timing.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win one of these for my husband. We are expecting our surprise number 5 in January next year, and all my husband wants is a sling for the baby. He is happy with whatever else I buy, as long as he has a sling.
And I am sure it would come in super useful to have free hands with 4 older kids who will be at sport and school to contend with.
I would like to win one for my sister-in-law who just had her first baby in Canada. She will be moving back to Australia soon having to start from scratch with all her baby goods!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win one. My first baby is due in 7 weeks and I think the hug a bib would definitely come in handy.
ReplyDeleteI'm having my second bub next year and with my first I didn't have a hugabub :(
ReplyDeleteSince then, a few of my friends have had them and RAVE about them. I really want one for the closeness of bub, for quick kinder drop offs and being able to do more 'stuff' around the house when bubs is unsettled!!
I wouldn't even care about colour, I just really want one to tell you the truth.
I'm expecting my first in January and this would make carrying the babe and chasing my five year old much easier.
ReplyDeleteI had my third baby in July, a little boy, and he's now just on 11 weeks old. I also have a 3.5 year old and a 22 month year old. I'm finding my feet gradually but definitely finding it challenging getting out and about. I'm sure the hug a bub would help! And I'd love to try my little bub out in the organic chocolate coloured one. They look very stylish and comfy.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win one as a gift for my brother & sister-in-law who are having their first baby at the end of November. None of their friends have babies so they are a bit short on baby supplies!
ReplyDeleteLove the Mocha / Hazelnut colours. Would suit my sister-in-law well. :)
I'm due with baby number 3 in March and I'm dreading the school pick ups and drop offs the Hug-a-Bub would most certainly make life easier :-)
ReplyDeletesaekae @ bigpond.net.au
I have baby No.2 arriving in Feb and would so love a Hug-a-Bub - your babies look so snuggly and calm in them....I am hoping it will do the same for my next one!
ReplyDeletekformosa@hotmail.com
Although I'm not expecting I would love one of these for my next bub. I've seen mummy's around wearing these and they look so comfie for mum and bub. My first always loved being held and all the carriers I tried were a complete failure. I would love to be prepared for our next one which will hopefully be soon!! We've had a rough year! xx
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win this for my sister. Her 7 week old is un settled little guy and wants to be held constantly and not allowing her to do much. This would make her life a lot easier.
ReplyDeleteThey don't make one for twins do they? Just a little joke, I realise that it wouldn't be safe to put two in any sling at once.
ReplyDeleteI got a Hug-A-Bub when I had my second child and it was an absolute godsend! She was such an unsettled baby and the only way I could get anythnig done was with her snuggled to my chest in the HAB!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win one for one of my sisters who are both currently pregnant, one with bub #2, the other with #4!
I would love to win one to take up to my beautiful sister in law for her new baby girl. I never got the chance to try one with my 3 and have had friends rave about them with theirs.
ReplyDeleteI would love one of these for my 4th baby - due any day now. They're just perfect for those first few weeks of teeny tiny snuggledum! x
ReplyDeleteHi! I would love to win one of these for myself and my bub due in 19 short days. I also have a 2 year old so this would really free up my hands to still be able to enjoy activities with him :)
ReplyDeleteI have twins due in Feb and the hug a bub is one of the only ways you can wear two comfortably at the same time. With three older kids I'm going to need my hands free and this sounds like the perfect solution!
ReplyDeleteI've heard how wonderful these are .. I'd give this to one of my sisters-in-law. She's due in a few weeks with baby number one :)
ReplyDeleteI am expecting my third baby this week and am looking for something to get out and about with my newborn, my 5 year old and 3 year old without having to lug the pram around all the time. The hug-a-bub looks super comfy and a great way to keep baby close and my hands free to do other stuff. I really want one and think it will make my life so much easier in the early days - they look great!!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I would LOVE to win this! I have a 12 week old baby boy who is MUCH clingier than his three-year-old sister was at his age, and constantly just wants to be held in Mummy's {tired} arms! This sling would make that SO much easier, while still having my hands free for my little girl. Thanks for the chance to win! :)
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough I have just ordered a new sling. My little man is 8 months old so I have had to get a woven sling as mine had lycra in it and he kept ending up around my knees! X
ReplyDeleteI had a hug-a-bub for our first baby and it was the best thing we ever bought. Miss 3 had terrible colic as a baby and the hug-a-bub made all the difference with being able to keep her in a perfect position for helping her with wind and still being able to function normally and get things done.
ReplyDeleteI also loved it because with a few simple tweaks I could snuggle her up when we went anywhere that was overly air-conditioned and quite cold, but as soon as we got outside, I could readjust and make sure she wasn't too hot in the infamous Darwin heat!
We are expecting baby #2 in 7 weeks and sadly, in getting all the baby things out of the store room, I found my hug-a-bub had been ravaged by the Darwin weather and mould had set in! I won't lie - I cried because I was so bitterly disappointed it was ruined...I thought I had packed everything so well to avoid this problem!
To be able to get another one would be FANTASTIC, and I would end up crying happy tears! :-)
I wish these had been around when I had my babies who are now 22 and 19.
ReplyDeleteI have just found out that my niece is having a baby, a delightful surprise for her and her partner. I would so love to give her a hug-a-bub sling to make being a new parent just that little bit easier after she's had her baby.
Thanks to hug-a-bub for such a lovely give away prize.
Anne xx
Exactly like you, i didn't discover a sling until i had my 4th too - first time they didn't exist in the 1990s, then i had twins, so finally, one strapped to me with 2 in a pram & one walking was the perfect recipe for us getting out & about.
ReplyDeleteClearly as my last baby is nearly 9 & we're not having any more (vasectomy) i'd love to enter for my darling friend Emma who just had her 4th baby (2 weeks early, still unnamed, even 4th time around some parents are still unprepared) & her pram is falling to pieces - the last babies don't get many new things!! I know a HugABub would be fantastic for her. Did i mention she is my new walking buddy, well once she leaves hospital & sorts out the gestational diabetes things. Thanks for the chance!! Love Posie
i used a sling for my first two boys though for the second one it wasn't so good. I would love to try a Hug a Bub for my third though, due in April
ReplyDeleteI would love to win a wonderful hug-a-bub to give to my lovely sister-in-law. She is a first- time Mum to my beautiful niece who I adore.(I'm a first-time Aunty!)
ReplyDeleteMy sister-in-law has just started taking my princess niece to a parents and babies group and the hug-a-bub would be perfect for her to use when going there. She loves pink and brown so the chocolate/musk colour combination would be my choice. Great prize!
roksalanna@gmail.com
I had another brand of carrier, that made my shoulders ache because there was no support on the hips and waist like these!! This wonderful prize would be passed onto my cousin who is expecting twins! the twins are her 6th and 7th children, so she will definately need both hands free (what a shame they don't come with an extra set of hands! Lol!) to look after the rest of her brood. She lost all her stash of baby things in the Qld floods that were used for her older children, so she's having to beg and borrow for her surprise of twins!! (identical boys - was trying for her sixth and got an extra blessing!)
ReplyDeleteHeidi
Hi Corrie, Firstly - Keep up the good work i have to say!
ReplyDeleteI wish these were around when i had my children, such a lovely thing to have. I would love to give this to my daughter, who is having my first grandbaby, & for something different I am going to be called Yaya (grandmother). And i just have to add we live a few hours apart too, thinking we might b skyping a bit...I think She would dearly love the pistachio colour as this is what the nursery colours are also. Thank you for a great blog!
charm3jean@hotmail.com
I'd like to win one for me and my baby on the way. I never had a carrier with my first child and regretted it intensely. As I've been blessed with this much tried for second bub, I would love to have a hugabub to keep this little one close and be able to still care fr my eldest and get things done.
ReplyDeleteThis looks so comfy, I would like to give one to my friend who is pregnant and has been having a really hard time.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this for me!! My little Gia Rose is 6 weeks old today and this would make my life soo much easier, especially when I am trying to keep my almost 2 and a half year old, Ava, entertained!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this for my friend Tina who's baby shower I am going to in November - it's her first baby so I'm sure she would need all these essential baby things (and would appreciate your expert advice in which baby sling is best ;))
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely a baby wearer and have carried all three of my kids in various slings over the years. But two of my three SIL's are not baby wearers - with the third SIL pregnant with a little girl (due to arrive in late October) I'd love her to be able to share in the joy of babywearing - and a hug-a-bub would be the perfect way to do that!
ReplyDeleteHug-a-bubs are the best! One of my twins had colic & he was only ever happy in the hug-a-bub, helped with bonding too.
ReplyDelete@Hazel - I used a hug-a-bub plus a shoulder sling with my twins (one in each), and when they had better neck support bought to Ergo babies (I put one on the front & one on the back... and they are nearly 3)! So don't rule out the twin baby carrying :)
I would LOVE to win this... for me! I'm expecting my first at the end of the year and a baby sling is very high on my list of must buys but winning one would be even better! I love the two tone colour options. **finger crossed**
ReplyDeleteWith first baby 4 years ago I had an old baby bjorn which I didn't get along with at all, so I'm on the lookout for something for baby number 2 due in December and trying to decide between hug-a-bub and ergo so winning one would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteI had a Penut Shell sling and an Ergo which I loved. They are put away for baby no.2 when that is on the cards.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win the hug-a-bub for my friend Louise who has just had her third boy, George. She is certainly going to have her hands full with a baby and her other active little men (Harry 5, Max 4) and it would be great if she could have a settled little bub nestled close to her whilst she kicks footballs around and sorts out piles of dirty laundry.
I won't enter to win one, as I already have one, but will second the opinion that they are AWESOME! I got one for my first baby, not knowing if it was any good, and it totally changed my life! I didn't use a buggy at all until he was a year old, just Hug-a-Bubbed him everywhere! When #2 was born (#1 was 22 months old then), I had the little one in the Hug-a-Bub and the big one in the buggy, so had no need for a double buggy for two kids. Made for a happy Mum and happy babies.
ReplyDeleteHug-a-Bub is by far the best wrap that I've come upon, and I recommend them to everyone. I'm just sorry my littlest boy is now 25 months old and doesn't want to be carried anywhere any more!! :(
I would like to win a greentea colour for my daughter and her husband who are due to have our first grandchild in 3 weeks
ReplyDeletehi Corrie, thanks for the great giveaway chance.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this for my sister who has just given my kids their bery first precious cousin xxx
Coopersmum76@yahoo.com.au
I would absolutely love to win one of these, we have a new baby (2 weeks old) who is very snuggly and wants to held all the time, this would be perfect as I could get on with my normal day to day jobs and spend time playing with my toddler too :)this would be soooo awesome!
ReplyDeleteK xx
I have been thinking about getting one - for babe number 3 arriving in 3 weeks. I love my ergo when they older, but elodie and Emerson look SO comfy as newborns in the hug-a-bub. I need both hands free for my 4 and 2 yr olds!
ReplyDeletewould love to win one for my friend. i am sure she would appreciate this as they look awesome.
ReplyDeletefrangipanni23@hotmail.com
I am due in 6 weeks and would LOVE a hug-a-bub however my budget does not stretch to one unfortunately :( So please pick me Corrie!!!
ReplyDeleteOh I would love a hug a bub of my very own. A wonderful friend has loaned me hers for bub #2 and I am in love with it - so comfy to wear especially for small mums and bubs falls asleep straight away. I'd love one of my own so I can give my friends back before I forget or wear it out!!!
ReplyDeleteLarisa
Aw I would just love to win this hug a bub as I have less than 2 weeks to go until our baby girl is due. I want something suitable for newborn so I can have my hands free for our other 3 children and my budget is tight so I have been holding off deciding. It would be awesome to win a hug a bub as I would use it all the time at home and out and about. I feel excited already!! - Lauren. hunkandlou@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteI would love to win a hug-a-bub for myself!! Selfish I know :) but everyone is saying an expectant mum should think of herself every now and then. Having #1 in jan so have a while to catch up to you corrie. Love your blog!!
ReplyDeleteoh my, those saved my life with bub number 2 ( out of four)
ReplyDeletemy beautiful girlfriend has just had her number four after the loss of number three hours after his birth. She is coming back to sydney for the inquest into his death, i suggested one of these but it was out of her price range ( and mine, and mine had long since been given to another mummy that needed it and so passed on) Id love to make her life easier in anyway possible.
I'd love one for our little man due in six weeks time. We had a different brand carrier for bub #1 and I found it scratchy and stiff - definitely not snuggly enough! I love how bub can hide out under the wide HugaBub straps away from noise, light and siblings!!
ReplyDeleteI have heard so many wonderful things about the hug-a -bub. For #1 I have used the bjorn, but I didn't really like it for when my daughter was a newborn and with #2 due in november Ive been thinking about what sort of sling I'd like for him/her. I think the hug-a-bub would work perfectly, snuggling the newborn and having both hands free to chase my 1yo around.
ReplyDeleteI've borrowed a baby bjorn for baby #3 (now 7 weeks old), because everyone swore by them & I didn't have a sling with my other 2 & needed one for school & kinder drop offs. My bubbas not a little one but I find his head doesn't have a lot of support & flops around if I lean forward.
ReplyDeleteThis sling sounds like my answewr :)
Thanks for a great give away!!
Hayley
The Raspberry hug a bub wrap is lovely. I'm 28weeks pregnant with my second child a little boy Tully. I'd love a bright sling for the summer months as we are due Jan 3rd. A lovely Christmas, news years present for our little guy.

Hi there! I'm new to your lovely blog and a new(ish) blogger myself. We have a LOT in common - I had 4 kids under 4 including Twins and expecting no. 5 in November. What a fabulous giveaway! I had to ditch the sling when the Twins were born so really looking forward to being able to use one again. I'd love to be in with a chance of winning this great giveaway :-) Mel x
ReplyDeleteSadly the Hug-A-Bub wouldn't be for me but my little sister who's not so little anymore as she's had a baby of her own! Her little man is 3 months old and can I say "LITTLE" is a total understatement! He's the most gorgeous and chubbiest baby and gives the most delicious smiles!
ReplyDeleteMy poor sister has a tiny frame and lugs that gorgeous baby of hers around... He's not much of a day napper and the house work doesn't do itself! So I'd love to win the Organic Chocolate/Pale Sage one for her so that she can save her back!
All of us mummies know how our poor backs ache carrying our chubba bubbas around!
Thanks Corrie :)
Sophie
Hug-a-bub slings looks so comfy and quite simply I would love to win one!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is having her 2nd bub next year and would find your hug-a-bub such a wonderful help. I might even be able to use it too and it could be very good for our backs. I will be helping out with the family as my daughter is a full-time worker. I now mind her first born Zoe 2 days a week. Mocha/Hazelnut colour would be a good choice.
ReplyDeleteI never had a sling with DD who will be 8 when this new baby arrives and I always wished I had one. I am planning on a hug a bub this time around as I am a much busier person these days with school run, sports etc. I really think I am going to need one this time
ReplyDeleteI would love to have one in black! I just gave birth to my 4th child 3 weeks ago. He is unbelievably spoiled and I need something to free my hands desperately!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteOh WOW Corrie, thank you so much for posting this! I have seen this type around but I've always been too shy to ask people the brand or where they got them. I would love to win one so I can carry my 7 month old daughter. Since she was born, I've kept her close and it's been so great for both of us. It hasn't been so great on my arms, though! And now that she's holding herself up, it's not so great on my hips. We tried one of those very structured carriers that cost a lot of money but just didn't suit us. Then we tried one of those beautiful, soft slings that go across the body. No good either. So I've had to go without since my husband is upset about wasting money. I'd love to win this one to keep my little darling close just a bit longer, and to have on hand for #2 next year.
ReplyDeletei am expecting baby no 2 in a few months and with a crazy 18 month who is very much a mummy's boy, it would sure come in handy!
ReplyDeleteI had something similar for my #2. #3 will be here November 19th, and a sling is one of the 6 items on my "must have" list. I guess the more little ones you have, the less you realize you need...but the hands free and balanced way this carrier works allows one to get things done, and save our backs! AND even better...adjustable to share with hubby!
ReplyDeleteI've been on the hunt for a sling with good head support for our 1.5 week old Benjamin. So even if I'm not lucky enough to win thanks for the suggestion! I can't quite decide whether the black or French beige/ vanilla sling would be most versatile :) fingers crossed
ReplyDeleteOk here is the big question, what did you use for the twins? My daughter is expecting hers in March and I have followed yours closely :)
ReplyDeleteAny tips?
ooo...would love one of these for our little Nicholas. Miss 2 is quite full on at the moment,so I love being able to be hands free.I love using the pouch but have constantly got a sore neck and shoulders if this could eliminate some of the discomfort it would be great.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I am a massive advocate of the hug-a-bub too!! My 3rd baby was premmie and it was perfect even despite his tiny-ness! All my bubs stayed in the hug-a-bub for over a year too. I would love to win one for my sister-in-law who is un-expectedly expecting baby number 3... 6 years after she thought she was 'finished' her family! She has given every baby thing away over the last few years, and we are all helping to re-stock them with baby items all over again haha! I am so excited for this little pink bundle of niece to arrive soon and join her two big brothers!! Meant to be...
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who has recently had her bub prematurely and unfortunately I already passed my carriers on so I would love to be able to win this one for her
ReplyDeleteNicole@beveridge.id.au
I would love to win a hug a bug for me! I have 3 kids under 4 and with my littlest being 3 months, I am yet to find the perfect sling/wrap for me. This looks perfect!
ReplyDeleteThat sling looks amazing. I would love to win one for my best friend who's having her second baby any day now. I think she would find alot easier to cope with a new baby and toddler if she had the bub strapped to her chest.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity.
Hi Admin .. I am very glad to see your blog. Always for your Success
ReplyDeleteI would love to win a sling for my
ReplyDeletegorgeous friend who is almost 31weeks pregnant with her second and has spent a frightening 11 weeks mostly in hospital flat on her back since being diagnosed with
an incompetent cervix. She and her husband have faced this challenge with so much strength and without complaints, they have been so brave despite having no guarantees of when baby will come, maybe it will be prem, maybe it won't but a sling you can put a newborn in would be perfect as she will have her work cut out for her
getting used to being up and about again & it would be great for getting up and down stairs at her apartment with her hands free to help her almost her almost 2yr old. A little baby pressie might put her smile on her dial! Id love to be able to do that for her..Seeings it's been such a long road to even being able to know that baby will most likely survive and be OK.
I've got baby girl #4 arriving in december, so i'd love one! It looks so comfy for bub (and mum)and i'll need my hands free as much as possible, i'll have 4 kids 6 and under when this baby is born!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win one for my girlfriend who lives on the other side of the country, she's just had bub #3, a beautiful little miss, and she's got her hands full at school drop offs and running around after her 2 year old and she loves to cook and bake so I'm sure she'd find this fabulous to get into the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI have a hug a bub too and love it! With twins due in a few weeks I would LOVE a second one so my hubby can wear one too...
ReplyDeleteWith a 3 week old, a toddler and three bigger ones this could just be the extra pair of hands i need!
ReplyDeleteA hug a bub sling is on my MUST HAVE list! I'm expecting twins in March next year, and with my 4 other littlies running around being hands free will be a necessity!! Reeealy looking forward to enjoying lots of snuggles with these babies, and I love how the hug a bub keeps them close and secure.

ReplyDeleteMy baby girl is 10 days old.. I would LOVE a hug-a-bub as I think they are a fantastic idea.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this for my sister who is having baby girl number 4 in December & will need hands free to deal with her other 3 aged 5 & under- Heidi
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this for myself or more specifically for my 4 week old baby girl. I have two older children and a partner who works away half the time so I'd love to be close to Bub but have my hands free.
ReplyDeleteI loved my hug-a-bub and with a reflux baby, she lived in it. I loaned mine to my cousin and made certain that I got it back (I don't think I will ever get rid of it, it is the best thing to have on hand when a friend is in need)
ReplyDeleteThis same cousin is due in four weeks with her second bub and she has hinted at borrowing it a few times. To win one for her would be fantastic.
I would love to try this hug-a-bub for my next baby. I tried a ring sling for my first with not much success and the ergo that I have is not for new borns. I am sure I will get lots done around the house and out and about with a toddler and a newborn if I had one. I love your multitasking.
ReplyDeleteI recently purchased a Hug-A-Bub for my BFF after cornering a lady wearing one at my niece's assembly one day! When she mentioned "Byron Bay" a& "Eco-friendly", I was sold!! My hubby and I are in the midst now of planning for one of our own, which has had it's own complications due to my mental health issues, but it looks like we have finally got some 'all clear' type of news from my doctor...Since coming across the Hug-A-Bub, it is now top of my priority list for our bubba... Kelly :)
ReplyDeleteOh Corrie this Hug-A-Bug is a great idea. My eldest daughter had her first baby, and our first grandchild nearly 6 weeks ago and he likes to held close most of the time. My daughter had bought a baby sling, but it has been to hard to use. So if I was the lucky person to win this great product my grandson could remain attached to his mum, and have two happy people. The brown one looks a great colour.
ReplyDeleteThank you
Oh lovely Corrie! I've spied these beautiful carriers about but without my glasses I've been unable to identify the name! So thank you for the recommendation and identification (incase I'm not a winner ill be purchasing one!).
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win a hug a bub, as I've just delivered my second baby (4.14kg at 37 weeks) and I've terrible muscle separation (17cm). I'd hope that the wrap would ease my back pain when carrying my gorgeous boy while keeping my hands free to play with my darling toddler (22 months).
Whilst I'd be grateful to win even a second hand huga bub, the opportunity to win and choose a colour is so generous, my choice would be French beige / vanilla.
Thanks again Corrie for presenting the opportunity and could you please post the recipe for the muesli cookies....?
I would like to win for my niece, it would be the perfect gift to give at her baby shower in October.
ReplyDeletearballantyne@dodo.com.au
I would love to win a Hug-a-Bub for my best friend who's a mum to be,
ReplyDeleteIt's only two months until it's due and although it's exciting for me,
her greatest concern will be trying to have time free,
the hug-a-bub will be the best solution naturally!
I'd love to win a hug-a-bub for my sister in law who is having her second baby. I know how hard it is to juggle two children at once and being able to have your hands free to take care of all your children at once is the perfect gift, and will score me big brownie points as the fav aunty!
ReplyDeleteI became an aunty to SaXOn AleX. He has an XOX in his name because they love him so much, but a name doesn't keep him warm and safe. This is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI would love one of these for my baby girl, she is 6 months old and teething and I CANNOT put her down or she screams murder! It would be amazing to free up my hands a little to clean up after the 2 and 5 year old tornados! I could wear it for the walk to school too, so my little man can ride his bike, instead of being bored and grumpy in the pram :)

ReplyDeleteCorrie, quick comment to thankyou so very much. We have just welcomed our first baby a week ago, and whilst catching up on my blog reading, and waiting very patiently (!) for her to arrive I saw this post. I couldn't not have one if they came so highly recommended! We love our hug a bub so very much! I had to say a huge thankyou for your post, your blog and your unbelievable strength as a mother of 5! Still inspiring us every post! Keera and Baby L @ live.love.sew xx
